Andreas Brehme is remembered for his World Cup winning goal in 1990. The left-back spent six seasons in Kaiserslautern.
He also played for Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Lothar Matthäus. In 1994, he took part in his third and final World Cup; he was eliminated in the quarter-finals after being eliminated from the quarterfinals in 2014. He was also voted Italy's footballer of the year in 1989, and won the UEFA Cup with Inter in 1991.
