Mikaela Shiffrin and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde announce their engagement. The American and the Norwegian have been a couple for around three years.
Kilde is one of the best downhill skiers of his generation. He had a serious fall in Wengen in January and had to be rescued by helicopter. He has now succeeded in getting out of the wheelchair again, but it is still unclear whether he will return to racing. The pair will wed in Innsbruck, Austria, in 2023.
