Professional baseball pitcher Aki Sasaki of Lotte started the exhibition game against Softbank. Pitcher Sasaki threw 57 pitches in 3 innings, allowing 4 hits, 2 walks and 1 dead ball.

Sasaki was affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake when he was 9 years old and lost his father and grandparents in the tsunami. On March 11th, which will be 13 years since the earthquake, he said, I think what I can do is work hard at baseball, so I want to focus on that.
