[HIGHLIGHTS] Africa Cup: Congo's national players demonstrate against violence during the anthem

Democratic Republic of Congo players protest against violence during the anthem. Similar to the German national team at the World Cup in Qatar.

Rebels are fighting against government troops in the east of the Central African country. The team is calling for an international response to the violence in the country's east. The country’s sports minister, Francois Kabulo Mwana Kabulo, said: “We need a reaction from the international community, just like it happens in Ukraine and Palestine is. It is an unjust rebellion"
