Eduard Latypov won the sprint race at the Strongest Spartakiad that started in Zlatoust. Olympic bronze medalist made one mistake in the standing position, but was 15.1 seconds ahead of Kirill Bazhin.
In a similar discipline for women, Anastasia Batmanova celebrated her victory, for whom this medal was the first of the season. On Saturday there was frost in the region: the thermometer dropped to minus 17°C and it was quite windy at the shooting range.
