[HIGHLIGHTS] “Politics has always interfered with football”: in Abidjan, the history of Ivorian football in the spotlight

In the streets of Plateau, in Abidjan, the exhibition "Y a Match. Memories of Elephants, Stories of CAN" celebrates Ivorian football.

Initiated by Yacouba Touré, it evokes the key moments involving sport in Ivory Coast. The objective is to show that Côte d'Ivoire is a land of football and champions, and that the hospitality it boasts is not an empty word. It is also to promote the national archives to show politicians that if they want to create a football museum, there is material to succeed.
