Colonel Sanders doll thrown into Dotonbori River in Osaka by Hanshin Tigers fan in 1985. 24 years later, in 2009, it was discovered during maintenance work on a promenade along a river.
It was stored at a branch of a company that operates a fast food restaurant in the ward. 15 years have passed since it returned to earth, and the doll has deteriorated to such an extent that the paint has peeled off and there are holes. A memorial service was held.
