Shogo Nakamura, who serves as the player chairman of professional baseball team Lotte, is on a campaign to improve his batting power. Nakamura participated in 137 games last season and won his third Golden Glove Award as a second-rounder.
His batting average was.220, the highest among players who have reached the required number of at-bats. This season, the leadership wants to invigorate competition within the team, so he will be trying out for the third position for the first time since 2017.
