The General Supervisor of the ball in the Egyptian club Zamalek, Amir Murtada Mansour, confirmed that the team will enter a closed camp after the second swab for the players.
"The team conducted the first smear today, Friday, to check on the players. From tomorrow, medical measurements will be made in one of the hospitals in the sixth of October, and the players will be divided into groups within three days," the ball supervisor said in statements reported by his club's official website on Friday.
He added: "We will conduct the second survey within 72 hours, after which the team will engage in group exercises ... Then the team enters into a closed camp after the second survey appears and everyone is satisfied."
He explained that "setting the date for the African Champions League semi-finals is appropriate for the team that is preparing aggressively for this confrontation," and Amir Mortada stressed that "the technical staff welcomes the matter and the decision taken by the African Union for this tournament."
He added: "We will work strongly through special preparations that the technical staff will make with the players. Our goal and our focus is to win the championship and we will work step by step until reaching the podium."
