Initially, it was scheduled to be held on the 1st of the following month, but suddenly it became unclear whether it was held.

the 26th, external members of the Ministry of Justice's Inspection Committee sent their opinions to the Ministry of Justice by fax.

It was said that an inspection committee should be held before the disciplinary committee for President Yoon Suk-yeol, which will be held on the 2nd of next month.

Afterwards, outside committee members agreed to hold a meeting on the 1st of the following month, the day before the disciplinary committee, to discuss whether there were any problems with the supervision of President Yun.

Seven of the 11 committee members, including the chairman, announced their intention to attend, and the meeting schedule was confirmed at 7 pm on the 1st of the following month.

However, an official from the inspectorate said in a phone call with SBS that "in the process of coordinating with the Ministry of Justice, it would be difficult to hold the meeting at 7:00 pm on the 1st."

In the course of discussions with the Ministry of Justice, the holding of the meeting itself became unclear, and it is being said that the Ministry of Justice is not willing to hold a meeting before the disciplinary committee.

Earlier, on the 3rd, the Ministry of Justice was criticized for changing the advisory committee's advice before the disciplinary committee to an optional rule rather than mandatory.

Of course, the contents of the Inspectorate's discussions do not directly influence the disciplinary committee's decision.

According to the rules of the Supervisory Commission, the supervisory commissioner can present opinions based on the results of the discussion to the Minister of Justice and recommend necessary actions.

However, the Minister is not required to follow this recommendation.

In a situation where the prosecution's opposition is growing enough to be called a sword-random, controversy over the holding of the inspection committee seems to continue.
