Xiaomi has presented the

Xiaomi Mi 7 Smart Band activity bracelet,

a device that integrates a larger panel than its predecessor, Xiaomi Smart Band 6, and has a

14-day battery life.

The company has released the specifications of this

new product

during a presentation that has taken place in China and through Weibo, where it will be available for purchase later this month.

This

smart bracelet

focused on physical activity has a thickness of 12.25 mm and a weight of 13.5 grams, although it depends on whether the NFC system is integrated.

In that case, it amounts to a weight of 13.8 grams.

It stands out for having a

larger

screen than the previous model, since it integrates a 1.62-inch AMOLED panel (compared to the 1.56-inch Mi Smart Band 6) with a 2.5D tempered glass cover.

The

screen

resolution is 192 x 420 pixels and reaches up to 500 nits of brightness.

It also has the so-called Always On Display (AOD), a system that keeps the

screen on

and shows basic information, such as the time or battery status.

The

device

integrates a 180 mAh battery that, with a full charge, lasts up to 14 days as long as the AOD is not activated.

To reach full charge, it only needs to be connected to the corresponding

power source

for two hours, and it also features magnetic charging.

Xiaomi Mi SmartBand 7

works with devices with Android 6.0 or iOS 10.0 and later versions and, at the moment, according to the Asian manufacturer, it has support for Chinese and English.

With more than 120 available sports modes, this smart bracelet offers

monitoring

functions for heart rate, sleep and stress, as well as female health and menstrual cycles.

Both versions, both the standard edition and the one with NFC, include a

silicone strap

and a dedicated charging cable in the product box, and its price is 33 euros in the first case and 39 in the second.

The

technology manufacturer

has not revealed at the moment if this device will be sold in Europe or when it will arrive and has only reported that it can already be purchased for pre-sale.

The official sale in

China

will begin on May 31.
