The Valencia CF has informed his players that will deliver them promissory notes which may be charged starting from September 1 to complete payment of the tabs in the Template 2019-20 season, according to club sources confirmed.
The Las Provincias newspaper announced a meeting on Monday that took place between the club's financial director and the footballers to give them the details of the operation.
From the club they explained that it is a measure that has been taken due to a temporary lack of liquidity due to the fall in income due to the results of last season and also due to the consequences of the COVID 19 pandemic.
The promissory notes expire within a year but players will be able to collect in two weeks, even if it involves the inconvenience of not being through a transfer as usual.
Sources of the entity indicated that the promissory notes are a common mechanism of the economy, that they are " backed" by Valencia and that they do not need any type of extra guarantee because otherwise the financial institution would not accept to advance that money
