A suspected case of monkeypox infection, which is rapidly spreading to countries around the world, has been confirmed to have flowed into Korea.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) announced that two cases of suspected monkey pox were reported yesterday (21st), and diagnostic tests are currently underway.
One of them was a suspected patient who entered through Incheon International Airport and was transferred to an isolated bed at the Incheon Medical Center, a dedicated medical institution, at 9:40 pm yesterday.
Last month, the government issued the monkeypox crisis alert level to the level of concern.
