Swedish medal candidate Thobias Montler is through to the final in the long jump at the European Championships in Munich. He passed the qualification limit directly with 8.06 meters in his first jump in the qualification. - That's the answer you want, that's what you're really looking for. The qualifying limit is 8.05 meters - and already in his first jump of the day, Thobias Montler was able to secure his final advancement with a centimeter margin.
With over three centimeters to spare on the plank, the 26-year-old jumped 8.06 meters and thus the qualification is ready for the Swedish medal jump.
