This is one of coach Antoine Kombouaré's priorities for this summer transfer window.

Unless the situation turns around, Comorian midfielder Youssouf N'Changama, 31, should sign up for two years (+ one year as an option) with FC Nantes.

An agreement between the player's clan and the FCN has been reached, although there are still some contractual details to be worked out.

According to information from 20 Minutes, the player, who is free of any contract after three seasons at Guingamp (Ligue 2), is even expected at the beginning of next week to pass the medical examination.

This season, the Comorian international has shone with Guingamp with 9 goals scored and 15 assists.

So much so that he was elected in the eleven type of Ligue 2 a few weeks ago at the UNFP Trophies (National Union of Professional Footballers).

He was also rewarded for the best goal of the season in L2 against Toulouse with an exceptional strike.

This technical aspect is also one of the big strengths (and Kombouaré likes it) of M'Changama.

The attacking midfielder, able to play on the left and in the axis, had thus scored an incredible free kick last February in the round of 16 of the African Cup of Nations against Cameroon (2-1 defeat).

M'Changama has never played in Ligue 1. He has worked for National and Ligue 2 clubs such as Gazélec Ajaccio, Marseille Consolat and Grenoble, among others.

During this transfer window, FC Nantes could sign another more defensive midfielder.

The club are also looking for at least two forwards.

The Bordelais Hwang is part of the short-list and the Marseillais Milik makes President Kita dream.

At the left-back position, a lining (Charles Traoré had Crusader surgery) for Quentin Merlin could also be sought.
