The Wrestling and Judo Federation distributes administrative bags

The Board of Directors of the Emirates Wrestling and Judo Federation held its first meeting in the presence of all members after its new formation by a decision of Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education and Chairman of the General Sports Authority, which included a group of distinguished sports cadres, youth and women, in line with the directions of the coming period aimed at accreditation On competencies and experiences in order to achieve achievements.

During the meeting, the administrative portfolios of the new council were distributed, which included the selection of Nasser Khalifa Al-Badour as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nasser Muhammad Al-Tamimi as Secretary of the General Secretariat, Muhammad Jassim Al-Sajwani as Assistant Secretary, Fatima Sayed Al-Hashemi as Head of the Women’s Committee, and the International Referee Ahmed Suleiman Al-Balushi as Head of the Referees Committee and the Technical Committee Issa Moussa bin Howiden, Chairman of the Committee for Clubs, Wrestling and Judo Centers in the Eastern and Northern Regions, the former judoka Sultan Muhammad Al Ketbi as Chairman of the Events Organizing Committee, and the former player Ali Muhammad Al Yamahi as a member of the Council, a representative of the youth category, and an assistant to the Chairman of the Technical Committee.

During the meeting, which was held via video communication technology, Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Darei, President of the Emirates Wrestling and Judo Federation, welcomed the new board members of the Federation.. He thanked Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi for the decision of the Sports Coordinating Council headed by His Excellency to approve 5 individual competitive Olympic sports activities represented in sports Judo, strong games, shooting, fencing, and bow and arrow, which will increase the focus on them during the next stage as a pioneering step for a future competitive vision that contributes to supporting the UAE sport in regional and international forums.

Al Darei wished success for the new council in leading the federation to serve the goals of the sports administration in the country, based on those decisions that constitute a strong incentive during the next stage.
