The UAE is the champion of the Gulf Golf Cup with "promising youth"

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, crowned the UAE youth team with the Gulf Golf Championship Cup, hosted by Abu Dhabi from March 13 to 17, as well as the Qatari team that won the men’s championship title at the conclusion of the 24th Gulf Championship for men and 13 for youth. In which 37 players participated in the two categories, the curtain fell on its competition today at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club.


The UAE national team ranked first in the youth category with a total of 474 strikes, and won the championship cup and gold medals, while the Omani team won second place with 489 strikes and its players won silver medals, and the Bahraini team came in third place with 505 strikes, and its players won bronze medals.


While the Qatar team booked the top spot in the men’s category with a total of 890 strikes, and won the championship cup and gold medals, while the Saudi team came in second place with 911 strikes, and its players won silver medals, while the Bahraini team came in third place with 913 points, and won the bronze medals.


In the presence of Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the Emirates Golf Federation and his deputy, Major General M. Abdullah Al-Sayed Al-Hashemi, the two teams were crowned, as well as the Kuwaiti player Salem Al-Abkal, who won first place in the youth singles category with a total of 230 strokes, and the Qatari player Saleh Al-Kaabi, who won first place in the men’s singles with a total of 230 strokes. 291 hits.
