Minecraft will get a "Star Wars"
expansion
-
Geeko
The very famous
Minecraft
builder game is
about to once again welcome the popular culture phenomenon that is
Star Wars
through a DLC.
Thanks to it, players will be able to immerse themselves in the iconic universe of Star Wars by exploring a dozen planets, including Tatooine, Endor and Hoth, and reliving cult scenes from the films.
Players will also be able to play as some equally cult characters from the
Star Wars
saga
, including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader and Chewbacca.
A real marriage
This isn't the first time Minecraft has taken inspiration from the
Star Wars
universe
, but so far it was all about skins.
This time around, the fusion of universes goes further since, as we have already said, players will be able to relive cult scenes from films such as the duel between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, but also board iconic ships. like the X-wing or the Tie Fighter.
Note that the new
Star Wars
pack
primarily covers the three oldest parts of the saga;
A New Hope
,
The Empire Strikes
Back
and
Return of the Jedi
.
And for the occasion, the publisher of the game has really done things in a big way since the textures of
Minecraft
have been revised to stick to the universe of
Star Wars
.
The pack will also include cult music from the saga.
The
Star Wars
pack
is already available from the game marketplace.
