As the corona test system changes, many people are looking for self-test kits, so the shortage continues.

As a result, the government set the price of one piece at 6,000 won and made it possible to sell self-test kits at convenience stores as well as pharmacies, but it was not easy to obtain them even at convenience stores.

A pharmacy in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, takes out the rapid antigen test kits from the box and puts them in a plastic bag one by one.

When a box of 25 comes in, the pharmacist packs the components one by one.

[Shin-Young Yang / Pharmacist: It takes about 20 minutes to subdivide once (it takes.) It takes 25 minutes to subdivide all 25 pieces, but when they run out, you have to stop what you are doing in the middle and divide it up and display it…

These test kits sold separately cost 6,000 won each, but even the same product packaged from the beginning is more expensive.

As the shortage of test kits continues, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has limited the supply to 50 per pharmacy per day until this week.

There were quite a few places that were not ready for convenience store sales.

[Convenience store employee: What was announced this time (today) is coming.

18,000 won won't come in at all for the original two.

It only came in 6 pieces and it was cut off.]

When it was pointed out that the accuracy of the rapid antigen test kit was only 7 or 80%, the quarantine authorities announced that they could receive a free PCR test at a screening clinic after receiving a statement from a local hospital or clinic.

Even if the rapid antigen test is negative, it is limited to those who have symptoms of coronavirus such as fever or sore throat.

Even if you pay money at a medical institution and get a PCR test, if you test positive, you can get your test fee back at the hospital immediately.

In addition, home healers can receive prescription drugs for coronavirus, such as fever-reducing drugs, at any local pharmacy, except for oral medications.
