In preparation for the possibility that the body or belongings of Mr. A, who died after being attacked in North Korea, may float to the southern area of the NLL, the coast of Yeonpyeong Island was divided into 8 zones, 96 km wide and 18.5 km long, from the west of Yeonpyeong Island to the south of Socheong Island. We are searching together.

The Navy took over four areas close to the West Sea NLL, and the Coast Guard took over the remaining four seas below it.

The Coast Guard and Navy searched overnight from 6pm yesterday, but there were no significant results.

The coast guard, who is also investigating Mr. A's actions before his disappearance, has not ruled out the possibility of his voluntary escape to North Korea, but has not found any relevant circumstances.

The Coast Guard asked the National Institute of Scientific Investigation yesterday to analyze two closed-circuit (CC) TVs and a shared PC in Mugunghwa 10, a fishing guidance ship that failed three days before Mr. A's disappearance.

In addition, Mr. A's financial and insurance accounts and cell phone call history were checked, and the results of the interim investigation will be announced at a press briefing this morning.

As a result of the maritime police investigation, it is known that Mr. A owed hundreds of millions of won in debt, but it was reported that he did not make any mention of North Korea in a call with his family or acquaintance before his disappearance.
