Samsung to launch new Galaxy Note on August 5 - Geeko

As usual, Samsung will hold an event during the month of August. An “Unpacked” conference during which the South Korean manufacturer is likely to present its new Galaxy Note, although the company does not mention it explicitly. An event that will only be held online due to the coronavirus health crisis and which can be followed from the official Samsung website.

If the teaser does not explicitly mention the Galaxy Note 20, the 15-second video reveals an S-Pen, characteristic of the range of phones. The calendar also fits perfectly with the habits of the brand. And if that was not enough, a photo of the smartphone had been inadvertently published by Samsung Russia a few days ago, leaving no doubt.

What to expect

The 2020 version of the Galaxy Note could have several models. This was already the case last year with the Galaxy Note 10, Note 10 + and the Note 10 Lite. This year, Samsung could once again offer several versions of its Galaxy Note 20, like the Galaxy S20 and its Plus and Ultra versions presented last February. Samsung is rumored to be offering an Ultra version of its new smartphone. However, for its internal characteristics, we do not yet know much, except that the phone could embed a Snapdragon 865 processor.

Finally, there is also talk that the manufacturer will unveil a new model of foldable smartphone at its conference on August 5.
