Colombian Galatasaray star Radamel Falcao has fractured his face following a collision with another player during training, the Turkish team announced on Twitter on Sunday.

“Following a head collision during training, a facial bone fracture was diagnosed in our player Radamel Falcao.

A closed reduction operation under anesthesia is planned this evening, ”said Galatasaray.

Eight goals in 14 games this season

The other player involved in the collision, Kerem Akturkoglu is doing well, but is placed, "as a precaution", under medical supervision, said the Istanbul club, currently third in the Turkish championship.

The Colombian striker, who spent six years at AS Monaco before landing in Istanbul in 2019, is one of the stars of Galatasaray.

He has played 14 league games this season in which he has scored 8 goals.
