Officially .. Omar Khribin excluded from the list of the Syrian national team for life

The President of the Syrian Football Association, Hatem Al-Ghayeb, said that the federation decided to deprive Omar Khribin, the Saudi Al-Hilal player, from permanently representing the Syrian national team, and to prevent him from participating in any activity related to the association for life.

This came in a press conference held by the Syrian Federation, the details of which were published by the Syrian media today.

The federation confirmed that the decision came in response to the player's recent statements about his crisis with the coach of the Syrian national team, Nabil Maaloul, and that the suspension decision will remain effective whether the player apologized for his statements or not.

The Syrian team camp, which was held in mid-November in the UAE, witnessed Maaloul expelling Omar Kharbin, on the eve of a friendly meeting in front of the Uzbekistan national team, in a decision justified by the administrative apparatus of the Syrian mission, that it was caused by Khribin interference in technical matters, before the Al Hilal striker came out a few days ago in press statements. On the Syrian "Sama Satellite Channel", accusing Maaloul of directing obscene words against the team's players, indicating that he refuses to return to the Syrian national team, as long as he is at the head of the technical administration.
