It was the third straight podium in the distance in the World Cup for Coleman, who finished second in Budapest and third in Berlin.

The 27-year-old swam in the time of 52.17, but was once again beaten by Australian Olympic gold medalist Emma Mckeon, who won at an impressive 51.15.

Countryman Madison Wilson was second in 51.95.

The final part of the World Cup will be decided in Russian Kazan between 28 and 30 October.
