Murtaza Mansour accuses an Arab club of "piracy" ... and threatens whoever contracts with Carteron

Zamalek club president, Mortada Mansour, commented in a very angry tone on the sudden resignation of the coach of the first football team, French Patrice Carteron, yesterday.

Mortada Mansour told Al-Zamalek TV that what happened was a "conspiracy" aimed at undermining the team, especially at a critical time of the season.

The president of Zamalek accused an Arab club of piracy, and said that what happened harms relations between the clubs.

He said that Zamalek club tolerated the French coach in many matters, whether in terms of results or in his choices, but he said that what happened from him was a "disrespectful way" to end the relationship between him and the club.

Mortada Mansour said Zamalek would remain a big club, and he is bigger than Carteron.

It is noteworthy that Carteron abruptly resigned yesterday, and decided to pay the penalty clause in his contract amounting to a quarter of a million dollars.

And press reports in Egypt and Saudi Arabia indicated that the Al-Taawon club reached an initial agreement with the French coach.
