After 252 matches, the Lyon adventure ended there for Maxwel Cornet.

The OL striker or left-back was transferred to Burnley, a first division club in England, for a sum of 15 million euros.

The announcement was made this Sunday on the OL website.

Of this amount, 15% will be paid, as part of the capital gain on this operation to FC Metz, the club where the Ivorian international since 2017 was formed from 2003 and from which he was transferred in January 2015 for 400,000 euros.

The 24-year-old has scored 50 goals with the OL jersey.
