On the morning of the 23rd, a fire broke out in a warehouse in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do.

Employees inside the building were evacuated, and the fire is currently under control.

For more details, we will connect with reporters who are out of the field.

Reporter Ji-wook Kim, even if a big fire has been caught, you can see the embers behind you.

Yes, I am at the fire scene at the logistics warehouse in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do.

At around 5:30 PM, the great fire was extinguished, but thick smoke was still rising.

It was around 11:40 a.m. today when a fire broke out in a four-story golf clothing warehouse building.

[Hanhwasun / Majang-myeon, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do: Smoke is coming out more and more.

From then on, the red fire just poured out, and I was amazed at how much...

There are reports from the scene that a fire of unknown cause occurred in a temporary building outside the warehouse and spread to the building.

142 employees were urgently evacuated, but only one male in his 30s suffered burns on his hands, and the rest of the employees were not injured.

The fire department, which issued the first stage of response, mobilizing all the fire department personnel and equipment in charge, and started extinguishing the fire, extinguished a large fire in six hours.

It's been 9 hours since the fire started, but what do the fire departments see as the reason why the fire is not easily extinguished?

<Reporter>

Yes, there were about 3 million pieces of easily flammable clothing in the warehouse, so the fire spread easily.

The four-story building was large enough to reach 15,000 square meters, and there were many shelves and partitions, so it was difficult to extinguish the fire.

The warehouse where the fire broke out is near the site of the fire at the Coupang Deokpyeong Logistics Center, where one firefighter died in June last year.

At that time, after a big fire was caught, the fire soared again, and there was a disaster, so we are handling the remaining fires more carefully.
