Despite a two-goal lead at half-time, PSG lost this Friday night to Monaco 3-2.

Paris SG lost their first points in the league on Friday for more than two months by losing to Monaco, winner 3-2 after being led 2-0, four days before the reception of Leipzig at the Parc des princes in the Ligue des champions.

The Parisians had yet ideally started this match of the 11th day of Ligue 1, thanks to a double from Kylian Mbappé in the first period (24th and 36th sp).

But another double from Kevin Volland (51st and 64th) as well as a penalty from Cesc Fabregas (83rd) turned the tide in favor of Monaco, which temporarily seized 2nd place in the standings (20 points) while awaiting the matches in Lille, Lyon and Montpellier, scheduled for Sunday.

PSG, who remained on a streak of eight consecutive league victories, retain the lead with 24 points.

Rennes tramples against Bordeaux

For its part, Stade Rennes continued their bad streak in the league on Friday, conceding a 1-0 defeat against Bordeaux, four days before the resumption of the Champions League against Chelsea.

In this first match of the 11th day of Ligue 1, after two weeks of international truce, the Girondins emerged thanks to the first goal under the Bordeaux colors of ex-Rennais Hatem Ben Arfa (36th).

After this third defeat in its last four league games, Rennes remains stuck in 3rd place (18 points).
