The opening round of this season's American tour of men's golf was held in California on the 19th, and Hideki Matsuyama improved his score to 6th place.
Matsuyama, who started from 32nd place, decided the eagle in the final hole with 4 birdies and no bogey, and on that day marked 6 unders and moved up to 6th place with a total of 13 unders.
Matsuyama said, "I got better shots towards the end. I had more chances and I was able to decide the putt. It was great to finish in the top 10."
American 30-year-old Max Homa won the tour with a total of 19 unders and won his third tour.
