Top-tipped HV71 has had an entirely different start to the SHL season.

In the first four matches, there was a loss in all of them, and before the home meeting with Smålands rivals Oskarshamn, the pressure was great on HV71.

But it started badly.

After a period, it was 0-2 on the scoreboard, after goals by Markus Modigs and Kim Rosdahl.

- An extremely unfair result.

I think we are right through the period, but it bounces a little against, says HV71's Linus Fröberg in C More.

At the beginning of the second period, Fredrik Forsberg shot in 1-2 for HV71 in powerplay on a direct shot, but shortly afterwards Markus Modigs scored his second goal of the evening when he found a gap on Jonas Gunnarsson in the goal.

Two fast HV goals

Heavy uphill then for HV71.

But the home team would catch up before the break.

First, Linus Fröberg ran free with the goalkeeper and put 2-3, with 1.30 left of the period.

And just a minute later also came 3-3 when Fredrik Forsberg, just like Modigs, scored the second goal of the day with a quick shot.

In the stands in Husqvarna Garden, his brother Filip Forsberg celebrated, everyday in the NHL and Nashville Predators.

4-3 in numerical disadvantage

In the third period, HV71 took the lead for the first time in the match.

In numerical mode, Filip Sandberg fixed a free position, and took advantage of it in the best way by making 4-3.

With just under ten minutes left of the match, Eric Martinsson made it 5-3, just when Oskarshamn became full after expulsion.

Simon Önerud then put 6-3 in the open box and the first victory, and the first point, for the season for HV71 is thus in port.
