Dynamo Kiev - Chelsea FC 0: 5 (0: 3)

Chelsea beat Dynamo Kyiv 3-0 in the first leg in London, leaving no chance for Ukrainian opponents. In the second leg the conditions were even clearer. An extended corner kicked Olivier Giroud 1-0 to Chelsea early on (5 minutes), and half an hour later the Frenchman struck again, scoring his second goal after 33 minutes by Marcos Alonso.

Alonso increased the score to 3: 0 (45 '+ 1') with the break from Callum Hudson-Odoi. In the second half, Giroud made his hat-trick perfect, when he went completely unnoticed in a free kick by Willian and headed in easily (59.). And Hudson-Odoi also scored the goal (78th), this time assisted Giroud.

With a cumulative 8-0 draw from home and away, Chelsea has further underpinned the supremacy of English football in Europe.

RB Salzburg - SSC Napoli 3: 1 (1: 1)

Like Kiev Salzburg had lost the first leg 0: 3 and had to hope for a high home win against the runners-up in Serie A. Naples, however, spoiled the Salzburgers early in the party. In the 14th minute, the RB defense could not defuse a low cross so that the ball jumped to Arkadiusz Milik. The hit the ball by Seitfallzieher into the net - 1: 0 for the guests. From the moment Salzburg would have needed at least a 5-1 win to progress.

The home side could hardly slow by the backlog and came through by Munas Dabbur to equalize (25). In the second half, the Salzburg even determined the game and were rewarded for their efforts: Fredrik Gulbrandsen ensured the 2-1 lead (65), after Andreas Ulmer had brought the ball from the left side sharply into the box. Shortly before the end of the game Christoph Leitgeb increased to 3: 1 (90.), but with three hits was the home team.

FK Krasnodar - Valencia CF 1: 1 (0: 0)

The return match between Krasnodar and Valencia promised the most tension, as Valencia had won the first leg in Russia only 2: 1. A 1-0 away win would have been enough for Krasnodar to progress. From the start to the end, the guests were close to the opening goal, but only in the final phase, it actually happened.

Shapi Suleymanov got a lot of space and time in a semi-upright position and used this to a worth seeing glimpse on the left. The ball sailed through the air and struck in the far corner, Valencia goalkeeper Neto had no chance to prevent the goal.
