Danish national football team midfielder Christian Eriksen (29 years old, Inter Milan), who lost consciousness during the match, was discharged from hospital after surgery.



The Danish Football Association (DBU) announced the news of Eriksen's discharge through the official Twitter on the 19th (Korean time).



After leaving the hospital, Eriksen visits the Danish national team to say hello to his teammates and then goes home to spend time with his family.



In a statement released through DBU, Eriksen said, "Thank you for sending so many messages of support."



Eriksen had an implanted cardiac defibrillator.

Eriksen lost consciousness at the end of the first half while playing for the group stage match of the 2020 European Football Championship (Euro 2020) against Finland held in Copenhagen, Denmark on the 13th.



Erickson, who regained consciousness by CPR by medical staff, was taken to the hospital for treatment.



It turned out that Eriksen was in cardiac arrest when he collapsed.



Denmark lost the match 1-0 against Finland and lost 2-1 to Belgium in the second leg.
