Al-Ain players fulfill the wish of a child who underwent 6 open-heart surgeries

The stars of the Al Ain team interacted with two messages sent by two children with heart disease, from inside “Tawam” Hospital, on the sidelines of the event in which Al Ain Club participated with several government and private institutions and bodies, last Thursday morning, on the occasion of World Heart Day.

The protector of Areen Al-Ain, Khaled Issa, presented the invitation to Youssef Al-Balushi, the five-year-old, who in turn sent a message full of love and appreciation to the player from inside the hospital, despite the artificial respirators that never leave him, as he performed six open-heart surgeries.

Khaled Issa surprised the child Youssef with a special invitation to attend the Al-Ain match and the Kalba Union, which was held on Sunday evening, and even entered with him and his fellow players to the field to take the official photo, expressing his sincere wishes for a speedy recovery.

Khaled Issa said, in statements carried by the club's official website: "Youssef is the one who surprised me with his innocent message full of love and appreciation, despite his health condition."


He explained: "Our duty in Al Ain Club is to work and strive to please the largest fan base in our beloved country, especially the next generation, and I will not tell a secret that I am keen to find the time space to visit Youssef in the hospital, to follow up on his health and I will communicate with him, and here I must thank his family. And the management of Tawam Hospital for their response to my message and my teammates and accepting our invitation to Youssef to attend the match in accordance with the necessary health safety procedures.”

As for the 10-year-old child, Khaled Al Ketbi, in turn, he sent an innocent message while undergoing medical examinations to the top scorer of the Togolese league, Laba Kodjo, saying: “I have a message for Laba..” Khaled, expressing his wishes for a speedy recovery, after he also invited him to attend the team's match against the Kalba Union and meet him inside the players' dressing room.
