Argentine striker and Manchester City club Sergio Aguero considered that the majority of players are afraid of the resumption of the English Premier League football matches due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
The Premier League hopes to revive activity on June 8, prompting players to return to training on May 18, and this will be discussed during the club meeting today, Friday.
Aguero's words came in an interview with the Argentine "El Sheringito" network, saying: "The majority of the players are afraid because they have children and families."
"I am afraid, but I live with my wife and do not communicate with other people. I practice quarantine in my home and the only person I can transmit infection to is my wife."
"They say that some people can be infected (with the Coronavirus) without showing symptoms, so they can pass on the infection to you. Maybe I suffer from this disease and I don't know."
The English Premier League was suspended on March 13 due to the "Covid-19" epidemic, but the clubs are determined to complete the season and play the remaining 92 matches.
Aguero revealed that his colleagues will be "very nervous and very careful" when they return to work.
"I hope to find a vaccine as soon as possible so that we can finish this matter."
