A fishing boat collided with one another in the Han River near Banghwa Bridge, and one fisherman drowned.
According to the police and fire department, an accident occurred today (24th) around 3:17 am in the Hangang River under Banghwa Bridge in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, where a fishing vessel with a capacity of less than 1 ton collided with the side of another fishing vessel of similar size.
As a result, a male fisherman in his 60s who was on the boat fell into the water.
Police and fire departments, who responded to the report, searched the area and found the fisherman in about an hour and a half, and he was already dead.
It was determined that there were no additional casualties.
The police believe that the accident occurred during night throwing work and are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
