The Korea Meteorological Administration predicts that the cold wave will continue on the 16th and 18th, and the temperature will rise slightly on the 19th, but a 'second cold' will strike Korea on the 19th and 21st.
This cold may feel worse because it comes on suddenly after being hot for a while.
Moreover, since there are many areas with strong winds, it seems that the sensible temperature will drop even more.
Strong winds with instantaneous wind speeds of up to 70 kilometers per hour (20 meters per second) are forecast for the west coast and Jeju this weekend.
Winds with an instantaneous wind speed of 55 km/h (15 m/s) or more will blow in the southern coast and the east coast of the southern Gyeongbuk region, and winds with an instantaneous wind speed of 35 to 55 km/h (10-15 m/s) will blow in other areas.
A strong wind warning has been issued for Heuksan and Hongdo in Jeollanam-do, and a strong wind advisory has been issued in Gyeonggi, Incheon, Jeolla, Chungnam, and Jeju.
