The Central Quarantine Countermeasures Headquarters announced that as of 00:00 today (14th), there were 1,615 new confirmed cases, bringing the total to 171,911.



There were 465 more people than yesterday (1,150 people), and it went straight from 1,100 to 1,600 people.



This is the highest number since the first case of COVID-19 in Korea on January 20 last year.



The previous record (10 days, 1,378 people) was broken again in 4 days.



This is the fourth record since the 4th pandemic after three days in a row on the 8th to 10th (1,275 → 1,316 → 1,378).



Usually, due to the decrease in the number of tests on weekends and holidays, the number of confirmed cases is relatively small until the beginning of the week, and then increases rapidly from the middle.



Today, the route of infection of the new confirmed cases is 1,568 locally and 47 from overseas.



The 4th pandemic, which started in earnest in the metropolitan area this month, is gradually spreading to non-metropolitan areas, showing a national trend.



From the 8th to today, the number of new confirmed cases in the past week is 1,275 → 1,316 → 1,378 → 1,324 → 1,100 → 1,150 → 1,615 per day. .



During this period, 1,300 people are 3 times, 1,100 people are 2 times, and 1,600 people and 1,200 people are 1 times each.
