The fifth edition of the “Sports Activity Classification” included 215 between 5 and 3 stars, with four receiving a 5-star rating, 194 receiving 4-star and 17 3-star events.
Launched in 2014 by the Dubai Sports Council, the fifth edition of the system saw the participation of 950,000 amateur and professional athletes of different nationalities and ages, as well as attracting 2.8 million followers from inside and outside the UAE.
The 405 events were organized by 85 international sporting events, 137 UAE sporting events, 161 community events, 11 sports conferences, 6 exhibitions and 5 sports awards.
