Facebook will be entitled to a new web version - Geeko

Promised at a conference in April 2019, the new Facebook interface will be deployed in a few weeks. Some users are already lucky enough to take advantage of the new Facebook interface, as reported by Cnet.

The new design of the web version of the social network aims to be more modern and less cluttered. This will highlight content and communities thanks, in particular, to better separation of content. Facebook draws a line under its blue banner in favor of a more refined home page, with fewer panels and therefore more readable.

The web version of Facebook will have three panels instead of four. The one on the left will display the games, events, memories and others without listing all of the elements, in the center, we obviously find the news feed with videos and larger photos and finally, on the right, the list of contacts.

Obviously, the Facebook mobile application will also benefit from the new social network design.

Dark mode is finally here

The biggest news announced is still the integration of a dark mode. If this feature is eagerly awaited on mobile, it will also appear on the web version of Facebook.

With this new design, the American company is trying to respond to criticisms from its users who criticized it for focusing too much on its application to the detriment of its website.

According to Cnet, the deployment of the new Facebook interface will take place by spring.
