A taxi driving down a road in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province early yesterday morning.

A car traveling in the second lane suddenly makes a U-turn and collides with a taxi.

[Taxi passenger: Oh, my head.]

[Taxi driver: Oh, it just goes back.]

Despite the strong impact, the car immediately fled, and the taxi honking its horn and chasing it stopped in front of it until it stopped.

[Taxi Driver: I never thought that the car would make an illegal U-turn.

After following a few hundred meters, I sounded the horn.

.

Even though I asked him to get off, he didn't get off.]

The driver of the car is USFK Lieutenant A in his 30s.

When a taxi driver and a passenger protested, three or four foreigners appeared around him, and even Mr. A got out of the car and a fight began.

The fight that escalated into fists continued until the police arrived at the scene.

This is where a group of US soldiers and a taxi passenger, a Korean male in his 20s, had a fight.

The police, who were dispatched at the time, will soon call a taxi passenger to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident.

As a result of a breathalyzer test conducted by the police, Mr. A's blood alcohol level was 0.183%, which was the level of license revocation.

One of Mr. A's party was also USFK Lieutenant B in his 40s.

The police have handed over two USFK soldiers to the US Military Police in accordance with SOFA regulations.

A USFK spokesperson told SBS reporters, "We are taking the incident very seriously," but "We cannot take any position as this is an ongoing matter."

In the near future, the police plan to send an official letter of cooperation to the USFK to investigate Mr. A directly.
