Yang Kyung-soo, chairman of the National Confederation of Trade Unions, who was arrested on charges of leading an illegal assembly, asked the court to reconsider whether to detain him, but it was not accepted.

The Seoul Central District Court Criminal Case 1-1 Division (Judge Kim Jae-young, Song Hye-young, Song Hye-young, and Cho Jung-rae) dismissed the request of Chairman Yang on the 15th.

Previously, Chairman Yang was arrested on the 2nd of this month on charges of leading an illegal rally, including the National Workers' Congress held in downtown Seoul on July 3 by the KCTU.

Yang's lawyer, prior to the interrogation held on the same day, said, "The charges of violating the Infectious Disease Prevention Act that the prosecution tried to prosecute are highly unconstitutional." .
