[Global Net News] According to the Associated Press, at about 7:15 am local time on February 23, the world’s number one golfer Tiger Woods injured his leg in a rollover accident in the Los Angeles area and was in hospital. After undergoing the operation, the police and their agent said that it is not clear what Woods is now.

  According to a report by the Los Angeles County Public Security Department, Woods was the only person in the car when the accident occurred. (Firefighters) used life tongs to rescue him from the car.

The vehicle involved was seriously damaged. No other vehicles were found at the scene of the accident. An ambulance sent him to the hospital for treatment.

  Woods agent Steinberg confirmed that “Tiger Woods suffered multiple injuries to his leg in a car accident in California this morning. Currently undergoing surgery.”

  According to the on-site aerial photography, a car overturned at the scene of the accident and the front section was severely damaged. The airbag seemed to have been deployed, and debris was scattered around the car.

  The Associated Press said this is the third time Woods has been involved in a car accident.
