Yoshihide Kiryu and Shota Iizuka, who won the silver medal at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Athletics Men's 400m Relay, gave advice to children working on track and field.

On the 26th, Kiryu held an online track and field class with Shingo Suetsugu, a silver medalist at the Beijing Olympics, and gave advice on how to run to people from children to adults who enjoy track and field.

Among them, a junior high school student in Tokyo asked, "How can I show the results of my practice in the game?" Kiryu answered, "It is important not to overdo the pre-match ups."

Finally, Kiryu declared, "I want to regain the Japanese record next season," and pleased the participants.

On the other hand, Iizuka participated in an athletics class held in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and taught elementary and junior high school students directly.

The athletics class was held outdoors, and everyone participated in wearing masks as a countermeasure against infection, and Iizuka taught the children how to swing their arms quickly and how to increase their stride while showing them how they actually run. ..

A boy in the third grade of elementary school who participated in the event said, "I was happy to run with the Olympic athletes for the first time. I learned the most about how to move my legs fast."

Iizuka said, "I got the energy from the children and made me want to do my best. I want to update my personal best next season and send energy to everyone."
