The prosecution, who is investigating the controversy that Vice Minister of Justice Lee Yong-gu, assaulted a taxi driver, is analyzing the black box SD card of the taxi that recorded the situation at the time.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office 5th Criminal Division (Director Dong-Eon Lee) is trying to recover the video on the day of the incident by acquiring the SD card of the black box installed in the taxi where Lee was boarded.

The prosecution sees this SD card as key evidence to prove the situation at the time, but it is unclear whether a meaningful video can be secured since the incident has been around two months.

It is known that after a certain period of time, the previously recorded video was deleted and a new video was overlaid on the black box.

Earlier, on the night of November 6, Vice Minister Lee Yong-gu assaulted a taxi driver who was trying to wake him up in front of his apartment house in Seocho-gu, Seoul, inside the vehicle, but the police did not dry out.

At the time, the taxi driver received a report and went to a nearby police box with the police officers dispatched to check the black box, but could not find the recorded video.

On November 9th, three days later, the taxi driver appeared at the Seocho Police Station and presented the black box and SD card, but even then, he could not find the video.
