The Irish MMA star is known for his luxurious lifestyle and his entry into Abu Dhabi was no exception.

McGregor arrived at the newly built Etihad Arena and the nearby hotel in his luxury yacht, and was then shot in a Rolls Royce the last bit.

When he got out of the car, he was wearing a shirt and was only wearing a pair of trousers and flip-flops.

With one arm, he carried his 3-year-old son Conor Jr.

The former world champion in two weight classes has promised to offer a show this weekend when he meets the American Dustin "The Diamond" Poirier in a top match in the lightweight class (70.3 kilos).

The winner is well placed to meet the champion Khabib Nurmagomedov next.

During the week, the former plumber from Dublin will live on his luxury yacht which is in the water at a close distance from the arena.

All other fighters stay at the hotel adjacent to the arena.

McGregor shows the form

McGregor, who is the sport's biggest poster name and cash cow, has said that he has big plans for 2021, but much depends on him defeating Poirier on Sunday night, Swedish time.

They have met once before, in September 2014, and that time McGregor won by knockout after just 106 seconds.

On social media, McGregor diligently posts photos to his nearly 40 million followers, and many MMA experts and other fighters have reacted to his physical fitness, which they describe as his best ever.

- His form?

Just look at him.

He looks like a battle tank, coach John Kavanagh said recently in an interview with The MacLife.

- We came across an old video before a match he was preparing for and it is almost impossible to recognize him.

He has developed as much as the athlete.

He is at his physical and mental peak right now.
