  England player Ryan Evans and Hong Kong player Wu Anyi are the leading figures in women's snooker. In the past 15 years, the two have almost dominated women's snooker.

  Evans is the most successful women's snooker player in history. Since 2005, she has won a record 12 women's snooker world championships. She also played as a professional player in the 2010/11 season of WST.

  Wu Anyi will embark on the tour as a professional player for the first time.

In the past 10 years, she has been Evans' biggest competitor. Since 2015, she has won the women's snooker world championship three times, and the women's world ranking once occupied the first place.

  Since it became the development tour of the World Taiwan Federation in December 2015, the World Women’s Snooker Tour has achieved good development, with more than double the participation of players, attracting more than 150 players from 29 countries and regions participate.
