Juninho ready to let go of Dembélé

It's a transfer that we feel coming since this summer, when Rudi Garcia decided to push Moussa Dembélé towards the OL bench.

Undisputed holder and real good market value so far, the former Celtic striker is now only a supersub at OL and could well look elsewhere during this transfer window.

Atletico Madrid want to recruit him this winter on loan, with a purchase option.

Nothing is done yet, but Juninho himself has admitted that the club will not oppose it.

“Moussa came to see me, he thinks it's time to change teams.

He has lost motivation.

Keeping someone who doesn't really want to live there is not ideal.

We discuss with Atletico, Moussa agrees with them.

If that happens I wish him good luck.

"

Slimani to replace him?

OL already have a small list to replace Dembélé in the workforce.

Former Monegasque Islam Slimani would be at the top of that one, according to the Team.

Information confirmed by Junhino, OL's sports director, on the Téléfoot channel.

“He's a player that we appreciate and that's part of the possibilities, but he's not alone.

It's never easy to find a striker in the middle of the season.

We look at Islam and other players.

At the start of the season I spoke with him, we had almost reached an agreement, he wants to play with us.

We discuss, but nothing is done.

"

Lirola at OM, it's almost done

There are two major issues open to OM: the eternal position of attacker (or grantatakan, it's up to you) and that of right-back.

For the second, the new director of football Pablo Longoria has a few ideas in mind, including Pol Lirola, Spanish right-back who plays at Fiorentina, as Marseille coach André Villas-Boas confirmed on Saturday.

"We'll see, it's a job we were already looking for at the end of the transfer window in August," commented the Portuguese technician at the microphone of the Téléfoot channel.

"We have the option with Lirola but also with the others, we will see if we can confirm in the coming days".

In fact, RMC and Sky Italia announce that the two clubs have agreed on a loan with a purchase option of 11.5 million euros, which should be finalized on Sunday.

Otherwise, the other good news for Marseille is that the transfer from Strootman to Genoa is almost complete.
