The coach of Olympique de Marseille André Villas-Boas, excluded last week in Nîmes (2-0), was penalized with a suspension match from the sidelines that he will serve on Saturday during the reception of Monaco , announced Wednesday the Professional Football League (LFP).

"The sanction takes effect immediately," said the LFP, which will prevent the Portuguese technician from accompanying his team during this eagerly awaited duel of the 14th day of Ligue 1 on Saturday afternoon (5 p.m.).
Villas-Boas had been sent off for protesting too strongly against a yellow card received in the first minute of play by his defender Jordan Amavi.
"As for my expulsion, it is logical, I was a little nervous, I said a little nonsense, this expulsion was deserved", admitted "AVB" after the match.
Marseille, fourth in L1 (24 pts) with two games in less, has the opportunity to get back on the heels of the leader, Paris SG (28 pts) in case of success this weekend against Monaco (5th, 23 pts) .
