A man in his 40s who killed someone else's house dog, said to have a loud barking sound, was sentenced to a fine.

Judge Jeong Hyeon-soo, who was exclusively for criminal 8 of the Ulsan District Law, announced today (26th) that he sentenced A, who was handed over to trial for violation of the Animal Protection Act, to a fine of 12 million won.

Mr. A said that it was "noisy" when dogs tied up in front of a detached house barked in Gyeongnam in September of last year. He hit one of them several times with a timber nearby, killing one and hurting the other.

The judge said, "There is no sense of respect for living things, and the way of committing is very violent," and said, "The decision was made in consideration of the agreement with Gongju."
