According to Alibaba founder Jack Ma, artificial intelligence ( artificial intelligence, or AI ) could cause people to work less.

"I think people should work three days of four hours," said Jack Ma during the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai, CNBC reports.

"I think that thanks to artificial intelligence, people will have more time to just be human. I don't think we need many jobs," said Ma. "The jobs we need are the jobs that make people happier."

Ma compares AI with the industrial revolution. "The power of electricity is that we can create more time for people, so you can go dancing in the evening or go to a karaoke bar."

Incidentally, not everyone is so optimistic about AI Scientist Stephen Hawking, who died last year, even warned that technology could lead to the end of humanity.
